DISCOVER THE OZARKS CIVIL WAR TOUR

with Tim Ritte, Author, Storyteller and Historian. Tour begins at the Upper Park Pavilion east of Highway 5 on Johnson Avenue. Look for the sign.

During the Civil War the area known as the Ozarks was basically a “no man’s land”. Neither side ruled and lawlessness was rampant. We will visit the sites of several battles plus the Ritter and Ava Cemeteries where many Civil War soldiers from both sides are buried.
